Thank you all so very much for giving of your time and energy in
this way. You do us all a great service.
One thing is clear, we cannot go on allowing our democracy to
wither, and even worse, to be about who has the most money.
Something has to change.
I feel deeply that Mixed Proportional Representation is the most
fair system in an imperfect world. Most importantly, it is the
system most likely to re-invest citizens in our democracy. It is
easy to understand, and makes each vote count. Without this
re-investment and greater participation, our democracy will be done
for and the rights and freedoms we now enjoy will become a
memory.
